Q. What does it take to run Goo-Inside.me?
A. Around 1300$/mo at the moment and a lot of server time!

Not that we complain about this, the adsense traffic we get from everyone that uses the site is immense, but it's not enough to cover our future expansions to better serve the Android community. With 108 active developers hosting files on Goo-Inside.me, and 30+ running on the build server we provide, Goo-Inside.me successfully provides a number of services that may be out of reach for some developers, giving them a chance to show off their work more easily.

So, what're we looking for?  Well, we've detailed it pretty well over at our donations page, but I'll post the short version, we're looking to raise around 10,000$ for the future expansion of Goo-Inside.me and to kick start a couple of projects, including a full time build cluster available to our developers (We've got about 30 on there now, and that keeps growing), and the offering of VPS services to the developers for things like gerrit, personal sites/wiki's, and things of that nature.  While not all of the plans are detailed on the above link (We're still developing them) we wanted to get this out to see the reaction!  If you're interested in donating in a way other than PayPal, let us know, and we'll be glad to look into it (Bitcoins have been suggested, but not agreed upon yet, as they're notoriously hard to track, and our tracking system only does PayPal :( )

Thank you all,

Goo-Inside.me Administration Team
Personal thanks from Alexander Blair (Snipa)

Edit:  We're at 450$, but the chipin widget out here isn't updating.  Looks like an issue on their side, with a cached XML.

Edit 2: Chipin widget fixed, due to a bad link within their system, there's been approx 130$ in private donations that do not show up on it. Please keep in mind that all money raised will be going directly into goo's cost, while we're not an official non-profit, we do not look to make money off the site or it's services!

Edit 3: Due to the issues with Chipin's SSL, we've defaulted back to a standard PayPal link, and will keep this thread updated.
