About Goo.im
Goo.im (formerly Goo-INsi is a file mirroring site, hosting mainly Android-related files. Here we provide a place for users to download files which can be used with their devices, without costing them a dime, or inundating them with annoyances.
The site started off as a simple server to mirror the Google Applications add-on pack for CyanogenMod. At the time, the only other mirrors were free online file hosts such as MediaFire, and another volunteer server which had just recently had its bandwidth capacity reduced by two-thirds. Since then, the site has continued to grow, now mirroring official CyanogenMod builds, hundreds of ROMs, radio and firmware updates, and other miscellaneous files used for the development and rooting of Android devices.
Goo.im also provides many features to help make using the site as simple as possible, such as a search engine which can find a file based on its MD5sum, or file-name. We aim to continue expanding the site's capacity and what we host, to make it into the most popular Android mirroring site there is.
To make things easy for developers, our hosting offers multiple uploading protocols such as sftp, ftp, and web. Developers get access to a web interface where they can upload files, view files, publish updates to their ROMs that will be sent to users of the GooManager app, create their own pages and add headers to existing pages where their folders exist.
